A hilltop temple to the goddess Bhadrakali overlooking Bhadrakali Lake, one of the most visited temples in the tri-city.
History
Bhadrakali is among the oldest temples in the region and was patronised by the Kakatiyas. The temple was renovated in the 20th century and remains a major pilgrimage centre.
Cultural significance
Devi Navaratri and the Dasara festival draw large crowds. The goddess is seated with eight arms and the temple has a rock-carved image.
